Director of Coaching Dominic Casciato

Dominic Casciato began his coaching career working for the illustrious St. John's Men's Soccer Program under the guidance of Head Coach Dr. David Masur. During his two years at St. John's, the Red Storm brought home a Big East Conference Tournament title and saw several players graduate into the professional ranks, the most notable being the NY Red Bulls Conor Lade.

After leaving St. John's, Casciato began working in youth development in the New York area, guiding the Dix Hills Elite (now U17) to a National Championship final (2013) and Semi final appearance (2014) during two years at the helm. He combined this role with assisting the Jersey Express PDL team for two years, helping them to become Mid Atlantic Division Champions, Eastern Conference Champions, and National Championship semi-finalists in what was a historic and record breaking season for the Express in 2014. In the two years Casciato was with the Jersey Express, 8 players went on to play professionally in different leagues around the world, the most notable being Tommy McNamara with Chivas USA in the MLS.

Prior to beginning his coaching career, Casciato enjoyed his playing days at Limestone College in South Carolina, where he was named an Adidas All American, Academic All American and Strength and Conditioning All American during a stellar four seasons. His hopes of a long professional playing career were cut short after suffering a serious injury shortly after graduating, which led to him turning his attention to coaching at a younger age than he had expected.

Casciato joined the Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club as the Director of Coaching in September of 2014.
