7 Brooklyn Italians Win Division 1 NEC Championship

LORETTO, PA - On November 16th, 2015, 7 players and 1 staff member of St Francis College's Men's Soccer team were crowned the NEC Champions. The Terriers with a connection to the Brooklyn Italians are Salvatore Barone, Riccardo Milano, Andy Cormack, Grei Mujko, Federico Curbelo, and Adrian Cosovic. These six players have played for the Brooklyn Italians in the past. Jack Binks, the stellar goalkeeper for the Terriers, previously coached at the Brooklyn Italians. Robbie Delle Site, social media manager at St Francis Athletics, works with the Brooklyn Italians Men's Team during the NPSL season.
The thrilling match ended 2-1 with a magesterial golden goal from a free-kick by Andy Cormack in the 94th minute. Cormack was awarded the NEC Tournament's Most Valuable Player. The St Francis Terriers defeated St Francis University to be crowned NEC Champs for the second consecutive year. Congratulations to the entire squad from the Brooklyn Italians family.
